Hotel Des Artistes

Excellent hotel, clean and comfortable. I travelled October 2023 with friends, we stayed in a triple room which was a good size, had pleasant decor, and a good en-suite shower room. There was plenty of choice at breakfast and staff were helpful throughout the hotel. The hotel is within ten minutes walk from the main Termini rail, metro and bus station. The nearest metro station is Castro Pretorio, which is within 5 minutes walk. My friends and I were very happy with this hotel and would stay there again.

I booked through Jet2 and I had my first solo trip in this hotel. It is within walking distance to all of the major tourist sites in Rome. The room was very clean and spacious. I was made to feel welcome every time I talked to a member of staff. The staff were very friendly and assisted me when I forgot my keycard and also when I had to print out a ticket. The breakfast is continental style with a selection of cakes, pastry , cheese and meat and cereals sections, amongst others, and was very nice. There is also very little street noise and I found the bed to be very comfy. I really recommend this hotel and I had a fantastic time in Rome. Thank you for making my holiday special! P.S. if you are travelling to Rome for the first time, and you are going to any of the major tourist attractions, you will need to take a form of ID with you. I would also recommend booking your tickets in advance as I noticed some of the attractions sold out for the day..

We booked here through Jet2 and we were not expecting much because it was budget and part of the package but my god we were blown away! The hotel was amazing! We weren’t in the main building we were a couple doors down and had to enter through a private door which seemed to be shared with apartments but the staff showed us to our room and were very friendly! Our room was spotless and so clean and the bed was very comfortable. There was air con and everything you would need. The bathroom was spotlessly clean and the room service cleaned and tided and provided new towels everyday! There were so many features that just made it feel more luxury than budget, they provided slippers and extras like toiletries and essentials like cotton buds. I’m sure to some people the rooms would look dated and old fashioned but we loved the traditional and rustic look of the rooms. Which the toiled floors and dark woods. It was beautiful and exactly what we wanted in Rome! The only problem we hard was the shower would get very hot very quickly at random points during a shower but we managed it well enough and never complained. So I can’t mark them down. Overall a brilliant hotel and would 100% return!

I was fortunate to experience a 4 night stay in this hotel. The front desk staff was friendly, courteous and polite. This hotel is very clean and room and tidy comfortable, neatly done. The staff is very accommodating from the utilities officer, housekeeping and during breakfast, the waitress are all nice and very warm. I enjoyed my stay here. I love how the room were so detailed and a masterpiece. They make the tiniest bed ever. I have to credit this to their good housekeeping. My room is tidy whenever I come back from roaming all day. Highly recommended!
